I know they say there is no such thing as a 'free lunch' but you can try before you buy. Earlier in the year i posted a blog about the importance of translation in particular of understaning the nuances of language.
I also mentioned that I am working with my friends at On Screen Interpreters in Buenos Aires to offer on line video translation services .
People Prefer Their Native Language. Yes, English is the most-widely spoken language, but to communicate effectively you have to talk to people in their own language. It isn't enough just to speak a language that they understand (especially if their understanding is limited). You must communicate in a way they understand that speaks to them in their way of thinking.
Online meetings by video, Skype and other methods are becoming more common and it is equally important that in these meetings both parties undertand and that is where we can help.
And to help even more we are offering a 'Free trial' to see how effectively it works for you.
So straight to the point and what is needed?
As with any webconference, people getting Onscreeninterpreters you basically need:
Decent broadband level (1.2 MB upload speed minimum)
Avoiding WiFi if other people are sharing it (cable internet is preferable).
If needed we can provide a Skype account featuring free calls to UK and overseas landlines so that you have no need to use your office phone.
Currently the most available language combinations now would be English to: Russian, Chinese, Spanish and Indonesian.
Interested? I hope so, just drop me a line and we will set everything up.
